Pricing and Availability
If you're interested in a piece of jewelry that is currently on back order or is not in stock, you can contact us by calling and one our representatives will let you know when the item will be back in stock. Sometimes due to the high volume of orders on products, an item can go out of stock before we're able to post notification to the site. If this happens, we will notify you personally and will be able to help you find an alternate item.

Infrequently, data may be inaccurately displayed on our site due to system errors. While we make every attempt to avoid these errors, they may occur. We reserve the right to correct any and all errors when they do occur and we do not honor inaccurate or erroneous prices. Our prices are also subject to change without notice. We apologize for any inconvenience that this may cause. Special Orders
Our goal is helping you find the perfect diamonds. If you do not find it in out diamond inventory, you can use our Loose Diamonds Order form to request the exact diamond you want and you will be contacted with 24 business hours.

Custom Jewelry
At this time we do not alter our jewelry. However, we do take requests for "Special Order Custom Designs". If you have something in mind please email us or complete our Contact form with your details and we will reply within 24 business hours.

Fancy Colored Diamonds
We offer Fancy Colored Diamonds only as a special order.

Ring Size
If your Maximstore ring does not fit, we will immediately resize it free of charge within 45 days of its original shipment. Resizing will take approximately 10-14 business days. Please feel free to use our Ring Sizer to find the approximate size of your finger. We cannot guarantee the accuracy of the ring sizer. Please read the information provided in our Ring Sizer Page.

View Your Diamond Before It's Set
If you prefer, in your convenience you can view your diamond before it's set. Once you purchase and receive your Maximstore diamond, send it back to us and we will build a ring for you. We'll pay the shipping charges for delivery of your diamond, and your finished ring! View our Return Instructions.

Policy on Debit Cards
A debit card is treated differently than a credit card by your bank. A debit card is much like a credit card in that it may display a credit card company logo, like Visa or MasterCard, but a charge to your debit card uses funds directly from your bank account. The biggest difference is that your bank may institute a daily charge limit on your debit card. If the price of your order exceeds a daily limit set on your debit card we will notify you, this will also prohibit us from processing your order.

As an alternative, you can:

Continue your order using a credit card.

Contact your bank and request a one-time waiver of the daily charge limit.

Gift Certificate Policies
For security purposes, when you redeem your gift certificate online, we require that you use a credit card. This helps us ensure your identity, as well as protecting against fraudulent use of your gift certificate. Your credit card will not be charged unless your order total exceeds the amount of your gift certificate.

Gift certificates are not redeemable for cash, cannot be returned for a cash refund, and are not transferable. Any unused portion will remain available for future purchases under the same Gift Certificate Number. Maximstore is not responsible for lost or stolen gift certificates. At anytime that you wish, you are able to check the balance on your gift certificate.

Maximstore gift certificates are redeemable only at Maximstore.com. Certificate cash value is, 1/10 of one cent. Gift certificates and unused portions expire on the date listed on your printed gift certificate, or the date listed in your gift certificate e-mail (does not apply to California or anywhere else where is prohibited by law).

Shipments Are Insured
For your utmost convenience we fully insure each order all the way to you. Meaning that when your order is in transit to you, shipment is always risk-free. For added security, it is our policy that a signature is required for all Maxim Store orders, regardless of any signature waivers you may have with FedEx.

Alternative Shipping Address
If you prefer, we can ship your order to an address other than your billing address. As a security precaution, we require that your alternate shipping address be on file with your credit card company. This helps insure and protect you from fraudulent charges to your credit card.

Saturday Delivery
If you are not available to receive your order on a weekday, we are able to arrange your order to be shipped to you on Saturday. FedEx Saturday Service, available in the vast majority of US cities, is subject to availability. If Saturday Service is unavailable in your area, we can arrange for you to pick up your package at the FedEx World Service Center nearest you. International Shipments
International shipments to the UK and Canada
Maximstore is proud to anounce that we offer shipping to Canada via FedEx at the request of our customers. Shipping charges will be calculated and all purchases are fully insured. Canadian and/or other international Customers are be responsible for duties and taxes/brokerage fees. Canadian Customs may choose to inspect your package, which may cause a delay of the shipping. The minimum order to any customer outside the US is $250 US.

Diamond Certificates
When you order a loose diamond, we ship it to you with the accompanying diamond certificate. These grading reports are complete detailed analysis created by diamond grading experts at one of two highly-respected diamond laboratories, GIA and EGL — making it very expensive to replace a diamond grading report. Because of this, we require each diamond grading report to be included with each returned diamond. If you do not return the certificate with the diamond you will be charged a replacement fee.

Sales Tax
Sales tax is only collected on orders shipped to the State of Colorado.

At Maximstore, our goal is providing you with the lowest prices and best quality the industry has to offer. That is why all of our prices are final.

Easy Returns

Comparison Purchasing
To keep our prices low, we do not allow comparison purchasing. Comparison purchasing is the act of buying several items with the intent of keeping the one you like best and returning the remainder. This causes undue restocking and inventory overhead and can be very costly. To confirm the quality of a jewelry item, please use our contact form to email your question and we would be happy to help you make your choice.

Information on Our Web Site
At Maximstore, we make every attempt to ensure that our online catalog up to date and accurate on all of the items. In order to give you the opportunity to view our products in great detail, some products may appear larger or smaller than their actual size in our photographs; and since every computer monitor is set differently, color and size may vary slightly.

Our objective is to provide you with as much information and detail about your product purchase as possible so that you can see the exquisite beauty and shape of a particular item. In compliance with industry standards and FTC regulations, Maximstore states that carat total weight in all purchases may vary 0.05 carats from stated weight.

On the Maximstore Web site, we display the dimensions of our products based on the information received from our manufacturers. For any convex or rounded jewelry item, the width and length stated in the product description is taken by the manufacturer, prior to the rounding of the metal in the manufacturing process, which may lead to a discrepancy in any measurements taken after this process.

Also, for each item containing multiple diamonds, we list the average grade and measurement for color, clarity, and carat weight. These averages are calculated by adding all grades or measurements that comprise the inventory with regard to that particular piece of merchandise, and determining the closest mean.

The Maxim Position on Conflict Diamonds
Maximstore is committed to offering high-quality diamonds, coming from the world's largest and best suppliers. As responsible citizens and jewelry merchants, we share your concern regarding conflict diamonds. At Maximstore, we only purchase our diamonds through respected, well-established, legal channels.

In April 2003, President Bush passed a bill adopting the Kimberley Process that requires all US diamond retailers to buy diamonds from manufacturers who have documentation warranting that the merchandise was obtained through legitimate channels. Today, the US Customs Service is actively enforcing the Kimberley Process requirements as diamonds enter American ports.

Maximstore supports the Kimberley Process. Each diamond cutter we work with obtains diamonds exclusively from legitimate sources, and they comply completely with the Kimberley Process requirements. At Maximstore, we will continue to promote any process that works to uphold legitimacy in the diamond trade.
